I am currently experimenting with GigaPan Photography. GigaPan is a combination of GigaPixel and Panorama. It means that you shoot several (usually 100 or more) photos aligned side by side of one scene with full zoom and stitch them together on the computer later. Thus you create photos with multiple times the resolution of your camera and you are able to create images with gigapixel resolutions (1000 x megapixel). This article is based on the theory of selforganizing systems, which I am not gonna refer here, but it should be understandable for everyone. The question is: How can we create a system that is sensitive to its environment; sensitive to even the smallest differencies? The solution is: Force the system into a decision between two or more ways, which lead to the same result finally. So the system will start to look out for any minor diffrences in its environment, to help it making a decision: it becomes very sensitive.

So, you might never have thought about search engine optimization, and suddenly you saw this nice ad, that said "get your page high ranked in google and yahoo". You are interested? You wanna use their service? First, I do not recommend you do!!! Check those many free tutorials and do it yourself. Because: It saves you money, and more important, you know what happens. But, having mentioned this, and you are still interested, there is a very simple hint, to find out, whether they can really help you, or just have a nice ad: Search for "search engine optimization"! If they rank high, they know what they are doing. If not, they only have a nice ad.(If you are a smart guy, you wanna do the same with this article now. I have to admit, my ranking won't be high. Why? This site is not about SEO in general. It is my personal website. Serach for my name and it is ranked on top (google) or at least high.) See also: The Dilemma of Search Engine Optimization
