GigaPan goes Eschenlaube
I am currently experimenting with GigaPan Photography. GigaPan is a combination of GigaPixel and Panorama. It means that you shoot several (usually 100 or more) photos aligned side by side of one scene with full zoom and stitch them together on the computer later. Thus you create photos with multiple times the resolution of your camera and you are able to create images with gigapixel resolutions (1000 x megapixel). More info at gigapan.org
