Das ist frech: Google Chrome kassiert IE Icon

Legt man Google Chrome als Standardbrowser fest, dann öffnet selbst beim klicken auf Internet Explorer ein Chrome-Fenster.
Das ist frech. Und so weit ist noch nicht mal Microsoft itself gegangen! Die sollten ihren Browser in Google Steel (bzw. steal) umbennen.
Ich musste den Internet Explorer über das Startmenü öffnen und hab ihn dann wieder als Standard gesetzt.
"Großer Bruder" im Kampf gegen "Kleinweich" - mal sehen wie das ausgeht...
Vielleicht geht ja nun Microsoft mal als Kläger vor Gericht. Neue Rolle für den Softwareriesen.
Im übrigen verwende ich sowieso einen Mac und da gibts zum Glück weder den Internet Explöder noch das Metall von Google.

How to choose a search engine optimizer (if you really want to)

So, you might never have thought about search engine optimization, and suddenly you saw this nice ad, that said "get your page high ranked in google and yahoo". You are interested? You wanna use their service?
First, I do not recommend you do!!! Check those many free tutorials and do it yourself. Because: It saves you money, and more important, you know what happens.
But, having mentioned this, and you are still interested, there is a very simple hint, to find out, whether they can really help you, or just have a nice ad:
Search for "search engine optimization"! If they rank high, they know what they are doing. If not, they only have a nice ad.
(If you are a smart guy, you wanna do the same with this article now. I have to admit, my ranking won't be high. Why? This site is not about SEO in general. It is my personal website. Serach for my name and it is ranked on top (google) or at least high.)

This is bad: A template tutorial with errors in template

If you write a tutorial for creating a template used in Joomla, you should have a working template yourself, no?!
Look at this: http://www.joomlatribune.com/Joomla-Tutorials/making-a-3-column-joomla-theme.html
Can you see, the text is cut off by the sidebar. This happens because the width of the content is not set correctly in the css.
And this guy is giving a tutorial on that?????????
